Abstract
The incidence of cervical ectopic pregnancy is expected to rise with the increasing use of assisted reproductive technology. The widespread use of endovaginal ultrasound allows early diagnosis of cervical ectopic pregnancy, which in turn permits a safe and highly successful conservative treatment with negligible morbidity. In cases with no fetal cardiac activity, treatment with systemic methotrexate alone is effective. If cardiac activity is present, ultrasound guided injection of KCL to achieve cardiac asystole makes methotrexate treatment more effective. Conservative management is possible in advanced cervical pregnancies but this should be performed at a tertiary center
