Abstract
The talk of Dr. Curtright dealt primarily with properties of the Liouville quantum field theory in two-dimensional spacetime. The material in the talk may be found in a series of papers by Dr. Curtright and his collaborators. Those papers are:
“Conformally Covariant Quantization of the Liouville Theory,” T. Curtright and C. Thorn, Phys. Rev. Lett. 48 (1982) 1309.“Quantum Backlund Transformation for the Liouville Theory,” E. Braaten, T. Curtright, and C. Thorn, Phys. Lett. 118B (1982) 115.“An Exact Operator Solution of the Quantum Liouville Field Theory,” E. Braaten, T. Curtright, and C. Thorn, Ann. Phys. (NY) 147 (1983) 365.“A Class of Conformally Invariant Quantum Field Theories,” E. Braaten, T. Curtright, G. Ghandour, and C. Thorn, Phys. Lett. 125B (1983) 301.“Nonperturbative Weak-coupling Analysis of the Liouville Quantum Field Theory,” E. Braaten, T. Curtright, G. Ghandour, and C. Thorn, Phys. Rev. Lett. 51 (1983) 19.“Nonperturbative Weak-coupling Analysis of the Quantum Liouville Field Theory,” E. Braaten, T. Curtright, G. Ghandour, and C. Thorn, Ann. Phys. (NY) to appear (1984).
