Abstract
Although AS-OCT can be used for conjunctival and scleral infections as well, this chapter covers the use of AS-OCT in commonly encountered corneal infections. Bacterial infections, including contact lens–related keratitis, pseudomonas, and atypical keratitis, are presented first. Next, viral infections, with an emphasis on various manifestations of herpes simplex and varicella zoster, are discussed. Finally, fungal and acanthamoeba infections are presented, with several examples and varying images of disease presentation.
