This chapter describes in detail the surgical steps involved in dorsal approach to the distal radius for treatment of displaced, comminuted, intra-articular or extra-articular distal radius fractures. Details of dorsal sparing capsulotomy, articular reduction, and fixation of distal radius are discussed. Indications, preoperative markings, surgical steps, postoperative care, operative dictation, and suggested readings are included.
