Abstract

Ear, nose, and throat pathologies are not only associated by their close anatomical proximity and common cavity but their embryological development from the pharyngeal arches and pouches. Embryologic development and normal anatomy must be considered when treating trauma, soft tissue injuries and masses, sinus dysfunction, and anatomical variants, among other ear, nose, and throat pathologies.
