Abstract

Intravitreal Injection Poor Visual Outcome Postoperative Endophthalmitis Sympathetic Ophthalmia Triamcinolone Acetonide
Endophthalmitis is characterized by marked inflammation of intraocular fluids and tissues and may lead to severe visual loss even with prompt and appropriate treatment. Exogenous endophthalmitis occurs when the infecting agents enter the eye from outside the body, typically following intraocular surgery, penetrating trauma, or contiguous spread from advanced keratitis.
