Abstract
Peripheral ulcerative keratitis entails various local and systemic factors for the pathogenesis of the disease and hence a variety of investigative modalities are necessary for reaching at a specific clinical diagnosis. This array of investigations can be really helpful if the utility of each test is classified into various categories based on the type of test, the level at which it needs to be considered, what information is expected, and how the results should be interpreted.
