Abstract
Heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) is a common gynecologic complaint. Management of patients with HMB could represent a challenge for the provider and the patient suffering from this condition. Endometrial ablation offers a minimally invasive, easy to perform surgical modality for the treatment of HMB. Adequate patient selection is essential to ensure a high efficacy and patient satisfaction. Both resectoscopic and non-resectoscopic global endometrial ablation modalities are accepted options for the current management of patients with HMB.
