Abstract
The Library Research Scholars & Adobe Scholars Program provides undergraduate students an opportunity to participate in a unique, librarian faculty-mentored learning experience involving a deep and active engagement with the University of Miami Libraries’ research collections and service programs. The program creates a curated experience by allowing participants to choose research topics of interest to them and connecting Scholars to resources that support their interests, while placing a high value on the research journey. A structured environment, exposure to library services, and guidance from librarian mentors support the development of an in-depth annotated bibliography and personalized intellectual product over the course of an academic year. Like many library programs, there have been necessary changes made in recent years to improve the sustainability of the program in a post-COVID world.
