Abstract
A harmonized, geolocated inventory of 1,664 climate resilience investment projects in Miami-Dade County, Florida, representing US$22.48 billion in reported investment. Records were compiled from 449 publicly available documentary sources across 89 federal, state, regional, county, and municipal web domains and span reporting years 1998–2026. Each record contains 13 standardized fields: a persistent project identifier, project name and description, implementing jurisdiction, latitude and longitude, spatial resolution, reported cost, reporting year, implementation status, and the direct URL of the supporting source document. Controlled vocabularies classify each project by infrastructure type (Gray, Green, Blue, Hybrid), principal hazard addressed (Flooding, Storms & Hurricanes, Infrastructure Failure, Coastal Hazards, Multi-Hazard, Extreme Heat), spatial resolution, and implementation status. All fields are complete for all 1,664 records. The deposit comprises seven files: the primary dataset in CSV and GeoJSON formats, a machine-readable codebook and data dictionary, an inventory of contributing sources, a README, and an archive of Python scripts with their input files that reproduce the technical validation results reported in the accompanying Data Descriptor. Coordinates are provided in WGS 84 (EPSG:4326). Costs are reported in nominal U.S. dollars and are not adjusted for inflation; users comparing values across years should convert them to a common base year. Compilation cut-off: 31 July 2026.
