Abstract
This data available through this repository page were downloaded from https://coronavirus.miami.edu/dashboard as a report on Tue Jun 8 15:10:43 2021. Accordingly, the data contained in the report reflects the information available on coronavirus.miami.edu/dashboard as of such a date and time. Please access the website for the most recent information. We are making this data publicly available for broad, noncommercial public use including by medical and public health researchers, policymakers, analysts, and news media. Data are updated daily at 11am and 7pm ET. Data pulled after 11am and before 7pm will only reflect the prior day's information. Data pulled after 7pm will reflect any new case information for that day until 6:45pm. If you use this data, you must attribute it to the “University of Miami” in any medium in which the data is used. If you use it in an online presentation, we would appreciate it if you would link to our tracking page at coronavirus.miami.edu/dashboard. The data collected provides counts of Covid-19 test results, positive testing rates fro Covid-19 testing, and counts of individuals under quarantine or isolation for University of Miami faculty, staff, and students. Daily counts are provided for positive and negative results categorized in two classes: students or faculty/staff, and residential or non-residential. Positive testing rates are provided on a daily basis and are directly derived from the test results. One count for individuals under isolation and one count for quarantine are provided on a daily basis. The data collection began on August 16th 2020 and continues to be collected twice per day. Currently there are six data files, one for each type of data reported across two years: 2020_UM_Covid19_tests.csv, 2020_UM_Covid19_positive_rates.csv, 2020_UM_Covid19_isolation_quarantine.csv, 2021_UM_Covid19_tests.csv, 2021_UM_Covid19_positive_rates.csv, and 2021_UM_Covid19_isolation_quarantine.csv. The 2021 data in this repository are updated every three months. It is expected that data will be collected into the foreseeable future.
