Abstract
Project 본인 is a large-scale composition for soprano, megaphone, and decet that portrays an abstract snapshot of my experiences as an Asian American through an intersectional lens that encompasses a multitude of sociological identifiers. The musical work sets Franny Choi's Turing Test and the composer's maputi to music. The overarching message of the work is simple: all that exist within the intersectional divide deserve to be treated as humans.
