Abstract
Miami-Dade County (MDC) has the highest HIV incidence in the United States, highlighting the importance of determining disparities in accessing HIV testing. We examined the spatial distribution of 78 HIV testing centers in MDC by conducting an Optimized Hot Spot Analysis using ArcGIS Pro. On average, each zip code contained 2.36 testing sites. Twenty-one significant clusters were identified, with hot spots localized in the eastern urban region and cold spots centered in the Southwestern area. Findings illustrate the significant geographic disparities in HIV testing access and can be leveraged to inform the placement of additional testing sites, expanding service coverage.
