Abstract
Evidence is presented which shows that the transfer of radiation in a set of homogeneous scattering atmospheres, characterized by different phase functions but the same value of ω
o, can be simultaneously simulated with Monte Carlo techniques in a single computer run. Furthermore, it is shown that the computation time increases very slowly with the number of phase functions processed.
