Abstract
The Journal of Emergency Management (JEM) is proud to present this special issue on the “Analysis of Pre- and Post-Disaster Management and Recovery for the Turkiye and Syria Earthquakes of February 2023.” This edition arrives at a critical time when the global community is increasingly recognizing the importance of disaster preparedness, risk mitigation, and the vital role of international collaboration in effective response and recovery.
