Abstract
The business trend in the 1990s to convert accounting firms into multidisciplinary practices creates opportunities for corporate tax executives. Multidisciplinary approaches arise due to the important relationship between corporate profits and corporate tax policies. Corporate tax executives are uniquely suited for evaluating relationships with multidisciplinary accounting and legal firms, in regard to tax policies, and should take advantage of their natural position to help establish corporate policies.
