Abstract

Lithium cations present in the supercages of zeolite X and Y activate guest molecules through electrostatic interaction with the π-cloud. Such an interaction may have consequences on the reactivity-photochemical and thermal-of the guest organic molecule. Lithium cations present in the supercages of zeolite X and Y activate guest molecules through electrostatic interaction with the π-cloud.
