Abstract
This is the case of a patient who presented with a chief complaint of mouth pain and a nonpruritic rash over her arms and hands bilaterally as a diagnostic challenge. The symptoms began 2 weeks before the patient sought care. This case aims to highlight the importance of obtaining a thorough history and physical ex-amination and identifying key features that will inform the differential diagnosis. The case reviews the varying differentials that aid the clinician in recognizing rare dermatologic conditions to avoid long-term disability and unnecessary morbidity and mortality.(c) 2023 Elsevier Inc.
