Abstract

In summary, Holter recordings obtained during the transition of digitalized atrial flutter with 2:1 to 4:1 block revealed that the episodes had conduction ratios which, for descriptive purposes, could be categorized as stages. That complexity theory can be applied to this progression is an interesting idea which needs to be proven by further studies.
