In the attempts of the editorial staff to improve the readability of these two abstracts, we apparently lost the essence of what the authors intended. Therefore, these two abstracts are printed here in their original form and should replace those that appeared in the abstracts supplement of Volume 12, Number 3 for the 10th World Congress on Emergency and Disaster Medicine.
