Abstract
An expanded knowledge base in child and adolescent psychopharmacology has imposed a consideration of ethical issues including prescribing in the face of the lack of a large scientific data base, critical developmental neuropharmacologic issues of children, informed consent issues, and special issues with research. This article addresses these and other selected topics in the ethics of pediatric psychopharmacology.
