Abstract

field observations data analysis time-series data microcomputer
The lap computer enables long-term storage of sequential, time-series data and can be easily interfaced with a microcomputer. As such, it is an ideal instrument for the coding and storage of laboratory or field observation data. Coding examples of dyadic interactions and sleep/wake behavior observations are provided and descriptions are given of the hardware required and the software that has been developed for those and other applications.
