Abstract
center dot Osteotomies, core decompression, and denervation all have demonstrated favorable outcomes in treatment of Kienbo spacing diaeresis ck disease, although this has been demonstrated mostly in the context of small or moderately sized case series.center dot Radial shortening osteotomy is the most commonly reported surgical treatment used in Lichtman stage I, II, and IIIA with negative ulnar variance.center dot Nonsalvage techniques (joint leveling, decompression) may preserve range of motion compared with salvage techniques in later-stage disease.center dot Denervation has fallen out of favor, although prior case series have shown positive outcomes in later-stage disease.
