Abstract

Alport syndrome results in the thinning of both the internal limiting membrane and Bruch's membrane in the retina. The dot-and-fleck retinopathy corresponds to hyperreflectivity of the internal limiting membrane/nerve fiber layer, and the lozenge and macular hole correspond to temporal macular thinning.
