Abstract
This document was created by members of the Library Publishing Coalition - Professional Development Committee. It is designed to help editors and those involved in publishing to develop an AI policy for their publishing program. Sections include policy development and maintenance, the fundamental elements included in an AI editorial policy guide, an annotated list of selected examples of AI policies, as well as further resources to aid a policy development. This document is being released under a Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY), further distribution and adaptation of this guide is encouraged.
