Abstract
We present a set of algorithms that automatially detect marine wildlife and provide velocity estimates in this paper. Fluid lensing is used to provide a distortion-free benthic surface image for each dataset. We then acquire image differences across the fluid lensing result and raw imagery. The algorithms highlight signals and track the movement of each signal individually. Overall, this paper demonstrates the automation of marine ecosystem studies with airborne remote sensing.
