Abstract
A nature-based solution to eutrophication caused by agriculture and production on and around Lake Okeechobee was developed through collaboration with Regenerative Resources Co. Potential industry partners were identified through data collected from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, search engines, and media outlets. Multiple communication strategies were employed to address the needs of each market segmentation. Once identified, the potential partner was evaluated to determine their person-organization fit. A tentative partnership was established and both sides worked collectively to develop marketing materials, strategies, and project adaptations.
