Research interest central focus is on sudden unexpected cardiac death. I am investigating the alterations of cardiac structures responsible for sudden death in the mitral valve prolapse syndrome, myocardial bridges and arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia. I am also investigating compositions and methods that reduce the time required for tissue processing and analysis.
