Dr. Santisteban has published over 35 book chapters and articles on family therapy outcomes, family processes, cultural competence, adolescent co-occurring disorders, and the blending of research and practice and is the co-editor of a book on Family Intervention Psychology.
Santisteban began his research at the Spanish Family Guidance Center/Center for Family Studies investigating the process and outcomes of family therapy and adolescent treatment, and identifying the ways in which cultural factors impact treatment process.
