Glen's research interests and publications surround issues concerning metadata, library technical services, leadership, and library access services. He has taught online and in-person about cataloging, digital library metadata, and archival metadata issues like EAC-CPF, RDA, FRBR, and FRAD through organizations like LYRASIS, Social Network and Archival Context (SNAC), Syracuse University School of Information Studies, and the University of Albany’s Department of Information Studies.
