Dr Allespach has lectured extensively at national conferences on the use of physician-administered cognitive-behavioral techniques for stress reduction, addictive behaviors and for decreasing depression, anxiety, and pain. She has also published several scientific papers on addiction, nonpharmacologic management of chronic pain, as well as on utilizing cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing and stages of change strategies to help physicians deal with difficult patients.
She has also lectured both nationally and internationally on Health Behavior Change.
