Though her general research is on land conservation and property rights, her current scholarship focuses on using property tools for conservation in the context of climate change. Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Federal Indian Law, Legislation and Statutory Interpretation, Natural Resources, Property. Owley's teaching interests are in the areas of property, environmental law, administrative law and Indian law.
