My current research projects include a number of basic science studies investigating the neuropathology of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's disease (AD); a longitudinal epidemiological study of individuals at risk for familial amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS); and a phase II/III clinical trial of familial ALS.
