Expertise

Dr. Schlumbrecht primary area of interest is in gynecologic cancer disparities, and specifically those that impact black women and women of Afro-Caribbean descent. Ongoing research in this space involves molecular segregation of aggressive endometrial tumors, risk stratification by nativity, and microbiome assessments. Dr. Schlumbrecht secondary research interests include low-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary, cancer survivorship, and medical education.
