Expertise

Dr. Zuidema's research focuses on the relationship of boundary layer clouds and their full lifecycle, from inception to eventual dissipation, to the large-scale environment, with an emphasis on the connection to radiation.

Dr. Zuidema uses a combination of observations from field campaigns (aircraft, ship-based and surface-based) and reanalysis and modeling to help articulate the low cloud behavior.
