Dr. Williams' research examines the role of germ-line and somatic sequence variants in the mitochondrial genome (mtDNA) in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). He is also interested in the application of single cell techniques and studies viral latency using combined gene expression profiling and cell surface marker expression.
